Eva Golinger is an Attorney, Author, High-Level Strategic Consultant and Media Personality from New York City. With over 20 years of experience in immigration law, she is an expert in business and entertainment immigration, as well as political asylum and TPS cases. She also has extensive experience and expertise in International Law, Human Rights Law and Media Law, and additionally practices in the areas of real estate law, contracts, and defamation and libel law. She is author of the best-selling books, “The Chavez Code” (2006 Olive Branch Press), a memoir: "Confidante of 'Tyrants'" (2018, New Internationalist - Book Pipeline Adaptation Contest Finalist, 2020) and “Bush vs. Chavez: Washington’s War on Venezuela” (2007, Monthly Review Press), amongst others. She is a winner of the "International Journalism Award" in Mexico, one of the most prestigious awards in journalism in Latin America, and has received numerous other awards and honors for her writings and investigations. Her first book, The Chavez Code, has been translated and published in eight languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Farsi and Turkish), and has won several awards and was optioned for a feature film. Ms. Golinger’s work has been extensively covered by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Newsday, Chicago Tribune, International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and other major media around the world.
